Civil Rights Advocacy — Know Your Rights
Your rights were

We build the case.
Have you had negative experiences with any of the following?
1
CTA Discrimination
Discrimination against male African-American passengers by female CTA workers. If you experienced this, we want to hear from you.
2
Cash App / Chase Bank — Account Fraud
Fraudulent restriction or dissolution of customer accounts without proper notice or justification. Note: Lawsuits already exist against Cash App — we are still seeking individuals interested in pursuing their individual cases.
3
Chicago Police Discrimination
Incidents of discrimination by Chicago Police Department officers. Document your experience and let us help you build a case.
Have your own civil rights case? Members of the public are also invited to reach out with their OWN civil rights cases — beyond these three campaigns. No matter what happened, if your rights were violated, we want to know.
Filing Fee
$200 per case
Reduced fees available for individuals on welfare or government assistance programs — documentation required.

What We Do
We meet with you, document the evidence, identify patterns, and prepare your case before connecting you with a civil rights attorney.
⚠ Important: The Chicago League of Justice is an advocacy organization — NOT a law firm. We help prepare your case before connecting you with a licensed attorney. We do not provide legal representation.
